As a Certified Funeral Celebrant I create end of life rituals and celebrations designed to celebrate the loved one who has died while compassionately comforting those who grieve. Whether I meet with a client before they die to help them pre-plan their funeral service or with immediate family and friends after the death of a loved one, my focus is on learning the client’s life story. My ceremonies creatively celebrate the deceased’s life through the family’s own stories, memories, pictures, music and favorite songs. My mission is to tell the story of the one who lived in a way that ensures they live on forever in the hearts and minds of family and friends. The celebration of life service take place at the venue of the client’s choice: funeral home, private home, restaurant, graveside or other special location.

As a professionally trained healthcare chaplain with a career working for hospices within Massachusetts for over 12 years, I bring experience, compassion, respect and understanding to my clients. In addition, my Master’s degree in Pastoral Counseling provides me with a solid foundation to listen attentively and creatively craft ceremony that truly respects and honors my client’s beliefs, traditions, and cultures. I am a member of the Massachusetts Hospice and Palliative Care Federation and the Association of Professional Chaplains.
